About Canterbury Construction LLC & Ask Mike
I’m Mike Soman, principal of Canterbury Construction LLC. After 36 years in construction, I’ve spent a lot of time building, repairing, remodeling and figuring out how to fix things.
For the last 17 years, I’ve traveled across the United States working on commercial restaurants. That work includes millwork at more than 600 Buffalo Wild Wings locations nationwide, along with ground-up projects and remodels for corporate and franchise owners.
Experience you can put to work
After about eight years working for different companies on a wide range of projects, I developed the skills to start my own company. I spent several years building and finishing custom homes, additions, and high-end multi-unit properties. Building projects from the foundation up has given me a broad perspective on how the work fits together.
Hands-on experience includes wood and light-steel framing; drywall; hardwood flooring and custom tile work; paneling and wainscoting; trim and millwork; doors and hardware; solid-surface fabrication and repair; fiber-cement products; furniture repairs; and epoxy resin projects.
